What can be searched
Nepal's Patent, Design and Trademark Act 2022 (1965) covers three registrable rights, all filed with the Department of Industry. Only one of them has a register you can search online.
Brand names, logos and slogans. Every mark the Department has published in its Industrial Property Bulletins — searchable by name, owner, class or application number.
New and useful inventions. The Department examines novelty, but does not publish a searchable patent database, and patents almost never appear in the bulletins.
The shape, pattern or look of a product. Designs are examined for novelty, but like patents the records are not published in searchable form.

Where the trademark data comes from
Nothing is retyped. Every one of the 71,500+ trademarks is cut from the page of the Industrial Property Bulletin it was published on and kept beside the searchable version, so you can read the government's record yourself.

These are published trademarks. Accepted and advertised by the Department of Industry, which is not the same as finally registered. Confirm status with the Department before you rely on it.

No. The Department of Industry does not publish a searchable patent or industrial design register online. A search of its records is made by application to the Department, and novelty is usually checked against international databases such as WIPO PATENTSCOPE, Espacenet and the Global Design Database as well.
A trademark lasts 7 years and can be renewed any number of times. A patent lasts 7 years and can be renewed twice. An industrial design lasts 5 years and can be renewed twice.
90 days from publication for a trademark, and 35 days for a patent or an industrial design. Anyone may object during that window.
It is a strong start, not a guarantee. The search covers marks already published; applications still under examination are not yet in a bulletin. A professional clearance also weighs similar-sounding names and related classes.
